I am on the verge of purchasing a Mac Book and considering that I already own an iMac i think it would be a great idea to go Wireless. However I can't decide which Wi-Fi base station is most suited for my needs. Should I go for the Airport Express or Airport Extreme? M talking about regular home use.

Is this equipment complicated to install? Is it reliable?

Any comments to this effect would be much appreciated Smile

Thanks.

If your premises is large the extreme has slightly wider coverage. Having said that if the router is centrally located you should be ok with either. If you draw a rough scale plan of the property and speak to the agents' technician they should be able to confirm coverage.

Hi Knopfler,

Can't give you any technical advise, but wireless is great, me and my son use our iMac and MacBook all over our flat. So where ever the mood takes you the computer goes...

Good Luck

Michelle
